I've been desperately waiting for this series to arrive at my local Borders since the day I saw their collection online. Paperchase is an UK company so online shopping is only for the UK residents. I just recently discovered this company through a friend. I only go to Borders once a while and I never visit their greeting cards/gifts section so I never realized there could be such cute goodies at Borders! This series is called "Happy Noodle" but there are not much noodle icons on the products but is still very Japanese-cute. Since this is kinda Japanese kawaii style, there are chopsticks and bento lunch containers also. Paperchase items are pretty reasonably priced. The laptop tote bag sells for $19.99, the rectangular melamine tray is $4.99. The mug is porcelain and is $7.99 (there's a box also). Looks yummy?! I'm glad I was able to order these. Right after I paid, the Hello Kitty donuts were already sold out! The donuts are life-sized and even bigger than Krispy Kreme donuts! The flan quality of the flan is very realistic and all three are squeezable charms. If you're thinking that the 4 cake necklaces look familiar, you're right!! The cakes are from Re-ment's Cake Shop collection. The size of Re-ment have gotten larger so these cakes are a good size to turn into pendants. The slice of chocolate cake is my favorite!

We've been getting some dark clouds and wet weather in SF but it's rare to see a tremendous amount of hail. As it was coming down, it looked like it was snowing and lasted for more than a minute! This is only the 2nd time that I've witnessed such a scene! Feels very winter-like when the streets are all covered with hail but too bad it melts quickly! One thing I like to do when it's nasty outside is some simple DIY projects while watching Hong Kong TV series. I never really stick to one craft but recently I've been making a lot of jewelry items lately. I bought every color of the Swarovski AB coated hearts available at the store because I was so indecisive because every color was really pretty. So far I've made about 25 pairs. I really like the resin pendants with the rice and sushi stickers. I've tried both white and brown rice before but the color of the brown rice seems to pop out more. We bought the tickets a few days before the show so it was either the $128 or the $48 seats that were way to the side that you'll be staring at his back for 2 hours. So we ended up w/ the $128 seats because those were considered the VIP tickets and VIPs got to attend an autograph session! Everyone brought a camera that day but were told that cameras were not allowed. We're like, why?! They explained that there would be a professional photographer taking pictures of everyone when they get their item signed and the pics would be uploaded to their website. But as of today, they still haven't uploaded anything and I want my picture!! I knew Dayo Wong was always slender but he appeared even skinnier in person and I just found out that he going to be 50 this year!
