Tasted 2 new Japanese snacks today. The Pocky is from the Dessert series w/ 2 different layers of chocolate and a thicker but softer biscuit stick. There's an obvious coffee taste but doesn't really taste like tiramisu. The roast corn caramel is not too sweet. Does have a subtle corn flavor! I thought it would be gross but not bad at all! Available at Chamalyn in San Francisco.

Found this at Ichibankan. They are dry pre-cut facial masks made of cloth. To use one, you will saturate a mask into your desired serum or homemade face tonic. Soak the mask until it's generously damp but not so wet that it keeps dripping (just like the Shiseido brightening masks)! Tonight I will try this w/ a very strong brewed green tea (I will let it cool down until it's warm but you can also refrigerate the green tea so it's nice and cold) + a dash of lemon juice. Will leave it on for 20 minutes. 12 masks for $1.25+tax.

Whenever I see something labeled as "limited edition," I'm instantly sold (especially with toys). Japanese snacks frequently have limited edition flavors but it's rare to see an American snack doing the same.

Arrived at Baskin Robbins for a Cappuccino Blast but felt that the Care Bears were begging me to bring them home. Didn't even bother checking what flavors they were.

So desperate for the Ronald McDonald and Grimace beanie babies that I've been almost purchasing 4 Happy Meals a day (2 for lunch and 2 for dinner). To cut down on calories, I would get the lowfat milk & apples instead of soda & fries. So far I've been drinking water or tea w/ these meals so I still have a dozen of these tiny milk jugs in the fridge. Will drink them w/ cereal before they expire. I've accumulated 12 different teeny beanie babies, an extra koala bear and 2 extra grimace dolls. You can find the complete set of 30 on ebay but I enjoy the traditional way more. Will slow down my purchases a bit since I've obtained the 2 that I wanted the most.

Microwavable lunch containers. Small but good for portion control. They're also wonderful as craft storage containers.

Candy Serie s will be out in Japan on 9/28 while the D isney snack series will be out on 9/14 Food sample series will be out on 9/21. The miniature Pez dispensers from the Candy series are adorable! The overall look of the Food Sample series has that Barbie-toy plastic feel. September releases are not that exciting.

Hello Kitty series will be released in Japan on August 10th. European Grandma series will be released in Japan on August 3rd. The Disney character keychains will also be released on August 3rd. I definitely want the Hello Kitty series but still deciding on the European Grandma and Disney ones. I already have similiar items shown in the Grandma series so the items aren't that exciting to me. Also, Re-ment items have been getting more and more expensive but the quality + concepts are becoming less and less appealing.

Bought 2 of these storage containers but what should I put in them? Looks adorabe as it is but most likely this Hello Kitty will be guarding my phone straps, jewelry findings or charms.

My cupcake Decotti set is here!! Saw these months and months ago and finally gave in. I like the one w/ the brown base and purple rhinestones. What's in this set. While reading the package, I found out that the rhinstones are not crystal but acrylic. I might head down to my local bead store to get the Swarovski ones to get that extra bling on my cupcake! 2 star tips. The one in the middle is just a cap for the fake whip cream. Here's the expensive "whip cream." From the ingredient list, this cream is silicon. I'm going to stop by Lowe's or Home Depot to get a tube of 100% silicon caulking to do a comparison. Got this when I was in Hong Kong a few months ago. It's a snack-sized bowl that incudes a Hello Kitty sticker. Wanted to keep this longer but it was going to expire soon! Bye Bye Hello Kitties!
